Job summary

Medical Diagnostic Laboratories (MDL), a Genesis Global Group member, seeks an Entry-Level Sales Executive to grow a national client base of hospitals and physicians. You will drive sales within a defined territory, present MDL’s PCR-based testing, and build lasting relationships with medical staff.

The role emphasizes proactive outreach, pipeline development, and collaboration with regional leadership to meet annual sales objectives. Travel is required to cover the territory extensively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or two years sales experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to travel within the coverage area and occasionally nationwide.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity.
• Well-developed multi-tasking, organizational skills, and detail orientation.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office, Excel, e-mail and internet functions.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales and profit objectives for defined territory.
• Acquire new business and exceed annual territory sales budget by presenting new test information and upselling.
• Develop and present personalized sales presentations to professional audiences (physicians, laboratory staff, clinics, group practices).
• Establish long-term client relations through scheduled calls with clients.
• Develop and maintain a full pipeline of prospective clients and manage territory.
• Provide timely reporting of pipeline and territory activities.
• Collaborate with Regional Manager to align territory growth with company objectives.
• Maintain knowledge of competitors in the territory.
