RTX Corporation in Tucson, AZ is seeking an entry-level Systems Engineer in Guidance, Navigation, and Control to support missile programs. You will help evaluate, design, implement, and integrate embedded software algorithms.

You will work with a team to test and optimize GNC solutions, leveraging CFD/CFD insights and real-time simulations to reach mission objectives. A DoD Secret clearance is required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, physics, mathematics, or a related STEM field.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and/or Object-Oriented design and Linux operating systems
• Experience with one or more of the following: GNC systems, modeling & simulation techniques, digital and/or modern control systems, dynamics, Kalman filter design, signal processing (electro-optical, infrared, or active/passive RF), navigation systems, sensors (IMU/GPS), and algorithms, including Assured Position, Navigation, and Timing (APNT) systems, and aerodynamics and CFD.

Responsabilités

• Support execution of missile programs; evaluate, design, implementation, and integration of embedded software algorithms.
• Characterize system aerodynamics via CFD and wind tunnel tests; design and optimize guidance, tracking, navigation, and estimation algorithms.
• Collaborate with an engineering team within an integrated product team to achieve system performance goals.
