Job summary

Raytheon’s Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities Center in Tucson, AZ is hiring Sr. Systems Engineer - Processing, Guidance, & Controls to support multiple product lines. Roles are 100% on-site with occasional travel.

Responsibilities include developing navigation and control algorithms, building dynamic models, and analyzing test data to improve performance. Requires MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and the ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience in guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) systems or related areas.
Strong modeling, simulation, and test data analysis skills.
Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, C/C++ and real-time software.
Ability to obtain an Interim Secret U.S. clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Develop, simulate, and evaluate control and navigation algorithms for autonomous systems.
Build dynamic system models and simulations to evaluate behavior and design choices.
Analyze test data to identify issues and drive engineering improvements.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, and test teams to validate complex systems.
Apply model-based design and reduce development test cycles.
