Job summary

RTX (Raytheon) in Tucson, AZ is seeking an entry-level Systems Engineer in Guidance, Navigation, and Control to support missile program developments. The role focuses on evaluating, designing, implementing, and integrating embedded software algorithms within a GNC framework.

You will work with a team of engineers to advance CFD, aerodynamics, and estimation algorithms, aiming to meet rigorous mission requirements and system performance targets.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering, science, physics, mathematics, or a related STEM field.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and/or Object-Oriented design and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with GNC systems, modeling & simulation techniques, digital/modern control systems, Kalman filter design, signal processing, navigation sensors, and CFD.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Support evaluation, design, implementation and integration of embedded software algorithms.
• Characterize system aerodynamics and develop guidance, tracking, navigation, and estimation algorithms.
• Collaborate with an integrated product team to meet performance objectives.
