Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or technical certification; related experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, telecom gear, networking or data center infrastructure.
• Familiarity with copper and fiber cabling concepts is a plus.
• Able to safely use basic hand tools and follow detailed work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation and data entry.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate with the team; strong communication.
• Must adapt to a physically active environment and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Prior data center exposure is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, and stage equipment, consumables, and cabling.
• Perform basic inventory checks against packing lists and update systems.
• Assist with rack positioning, leveling, and prep under guidance.
• Install rack accessories like cable managers and PDUs.
• Support rack-and-stack activities by lifting, aligning, and securing equipment.
• Perform patching and route cabling per standards.
• Label racks, ports, and cabling per conventions.
• Capture serial numbers, locations, photos, and installation records.
• Execute MACD activities under supervision.
• Perform routine visual inspections and escalate issues.
• Follow safety, SOPs, and quality standards at all times.
