Job summary

Ericsson seeks an Associate Data Center Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance in hyperscale and enterprise data centers. This entry-level role targets individuals starting in data center operations, telecom, or technical infrastructure, offering hands-on experience in staging, cabling, labeling, and documentation.

You will work with a collaborative team to learn best practices, with a clear path to develop technical skills and advance within data center operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Basic understanding of data center infrastructure and equipment.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, and stage equipment and cabling in designated areas.
• Perform basic inventory checks and update tracking systems.
• Assist with rack positioning and preparation under guidance.
• Install rack accessories and PDUs as directed.
• Support MACD activities and routine inspections per procedures.
• Route and dress cabling following standards and color coding.
• Capture serial numbers, locations, photos, and installation records.
• Escalate issues and follow safety and quality procedures.
