Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Data Center Services Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of infrastructure within hyperscale and enterprise data center environments. This role suits technicians with experience in data center operations, telecommunications, structured cabling, or IT infrastructure who want to work independently on standard deployment tasks.

You will execute rack-and-stack activities, cabling installations, equipment provisioning, testing, and operational support

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years in data center operations or IT infrastructure support.
• Knowledge of copper and fiber cabling basics.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy servers, network devices, and storage per designs.
• Route and terminate copper and fiber cabling with proper labeling.
• Install PDUs and verify power connectivity.
• Provision equipment and perform OOB management connections.
• Conduct basic testing and validation procedures.
• Perform MACD activities and FRU replacements per procedures.
• Maintain installation records and update inventory.
