Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an entry-level Data Center Service Delivery Field Support Engineer (L1) to provide first-line onsite technical support and field engineering services. This role focuses on restoring services and meeting SLA targets for low-complexity incidents while handling routine tasks.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in IT or computing and CCNA DC or equivalent certification, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computing, or related field.
• Associate level certification in Data Centre technologies (e.g., CCNA DC, Cisco, NetApp, EMC).

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line onsite technical support and field engineering services.
• Manage incidents and resolve to meet SLA targets.
• Log incidents with required detail and escalate as needed.
• Coordinate with client IT teams, carriers, and colleagues to diagnose issues.
• Respond to alerts and escalate to L2 when necessary.
• Update stakeholders with progress and resolution details.
• Apply standard processes to track and correct configuration items.
• Support data center networking infrastructure deployments and operations.
• Follow handover procedures for shift changes to ensure continuity.
