Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our Project Management team on active construction sites in El Paso. The role focuses on admin tasks, documentation, and coordinating with subcontractors to keep projects on track.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in construction management and at least 1 year of related experience, with strong organizational and communication skills and proficiency in MS Office. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a construction-related role.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Oracle preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Manage project documentation including submittals, RFIs, and meeting minutes.
• Oversee project activities and support PM to resolve issues.
• Maintain logs for change orders, submittals, and drawings.
• Prepare submittals and subcontractor contracts.
• Prepare Owner/Maintenance Manuals and QA records.
• Ensure the project quality-control plan is followed.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for documentation.
• Attend meetings with clients and provide PM support.
• Create Job Information Sheets and project files.
• Assist payroll with accurate information.
