Job summary

Loadsmart in Chicago is seeking entry-level sales professionals to expand our carrier network through high-volume calls, emails, and in-person visits while delivering outstanding service. You will negotiate rates, ensure on-time shipments, and enable carriers to use our online platform to book and track loads, supporting shippers with tailored transportation solutions.

Qualifications

Entry‑level candidates encouraged to apply; 0-1+ years of sales experience or relevant coursework.
Strong attention to detail and proactiveness.
Ability to multitask and prioritize.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in logistics is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Develop and expand the carrier network through high-volume calls, emails, and in-person visits.
Negotiate market-driven rates and ensure on-time shipment.
Enable carriers to use Loadsmart's online platform to book and track loads.
Support shippers with customized transportation solutions.
Relay carrier feedback to Product and Engineering teams to improve technology.
