Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo Tech at Good Samaritan Hospital to perform diagnostic cardiac/vascular ultrasound exams under physician supervision. This role is designed for recent graduates or those new to the field, with part-time scheduling (30 hours) and on-site work.

You will prioritize and schedule exams, coordinate with medical staff and patients, document results, mentor students, and support quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams per department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, physicians, and patients.
• Educate patient and family on procedure and ensure safety.
• Document exam results and other needed information.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use and technique.
