Intermountain Health seeks an Echo Tech to perform diagnostic cardiac and vascular exams under physician direction. Open to recent graduates or those new to the field. The role is part-time at Good Samaritan Hospital with on-call shifts and 30 hours per week.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; education from an accredited institution.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrate technical competence for department procedures.
• Prioritize and schedule exams and coordinate with medical staff.
• Prepare for exams by identifying patients and educating them on procedures.
• Perform ultrasound exams in line with protocols and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Document results accurately and apply charge codes for exams and supplies.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use and technique.
• Support quality improvement processes and participate in educational opportunities.
