Responsibilities

• Prioritize and schedule exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, physicians, other caregivers and patients.
• Prepare for the exam by identifying patients and educating them on procedure.
• Perform ultrasound exams per related protocols and in a timely manner.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort and achieve quality outcomes.
• Communicate patient needs to physicians and care team during exams.
• Document exam results and other needed information.
• Maintain equipment, work area, and stock supplies.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and education for others.
