Job summary

Epic, based near Madison, Wisconsin, seeks an Operations Center Technician to monitor alerts, manage security systems, and oversee building operations from our Facilities Command Center. The role requires relocation to the Madison area with relocation assistance provided.

You’ll identify issues via video feeds and data, coordinate emergency responses, and collaborate with teams to restore normal operations swiftly across Epic’s campuses. Eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Strong situational awareness and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work in a high‑pressure, real‑time environment.
• Experience or interest in security operations, emergency response, or a related high‑volume field.
• Openness to 2nd and 3rd shift, as well as weekend days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (relocation assistance available).

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time alerts across Epic's campuses from the Facilities Command Center.
• Manage access and security systems to maintain operations and safety.
• Oversee building operations from central command, coordinating with internal teams.
• Identify and respond to issues using video feeds and system data.
• Coordinate emergency responses during disruptions such as power outages or natural events.
• Work with internal teams and emergency services to restore normal operations quickly.
