Job summary

ADP is seeking a Sales Representative for Small Business Services in a defined California territory. You will identify and sign new clients for payroll, tax, HR, and benefits, while selling additional solutions to existing accounts.

You’ll build relationships, set appointments, and use ADP’s sales technology to close business in a fast-paced environment. No prior sales experience is required, as comprehensive training and support will help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Positive Self-Starter with upbeat, persistent style and the ability to cold call.
• Agile Solution Seeker who solves problems in fast-paced change.
• Continuous Learner who continually questions and improves methods.
• College degree is great but not required; relevant experience counts.
• One to two years of prior work experience or internships in Retail, Marketing, Business Development, Food Service, Insurance Sales, or similar, OR Military experience.

Responsibilities

• Closely manage a defined geographic territory to close sales and hit goals.
• Identify and sign new clients for payroll, tax, HR, benefits, and more; sell additional ADP solutions.
• Cultivate relationships, set appointments, gather leads, and present best ADP solutions in the field.
• Collaborate with internal teams and act as a trusted ADP ambassador while maintaining high ethical standards.
