Westlake Financial is seeking an entry-level Collections Agent to support delinquent accounts and help customers get back on track. You’ll receive thorough training and join a fast-growing team in Dallas, with opportunities for advancement.

In this in-office role, you’ll handle outbound and inbound calls, establish payment plans, and apply empathy and negotiation to resolve balance issues. High school diploma or GED preferred; bilingual abilities welcomed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent communication, listening and problem-solving skills.
• Basic to intermediate computer knowledge.
• Reliable attendance.
• Proper grammar and email etiquette.
• Type a minimum of 35 WPM.
• Ability to work under time constraints and daily deadlines.
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork awareness.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, overtime and weekends.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) welcomed but not required; Auto Collections experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls using an auto-dial system to contact customers.
• Set up payment plans for early delinquent accounts and help customers get back on track.
• Answer inbound calls with friendly, professional support.
• Apply communication skills and empathy to find fair, personalized solutions.
• Follow company guidelines to ensure all interactions are handled properly.
