Westlake Financial is seeking an entry-level Collections Agent to support delinquent accounts and help customers get back on track. You’ll receive thorough training and join a fast-growing team in Dallas, with opportunities for advancement.

In this in-office role, you’ll handle outbound and inbound calls, establish payment plans, and apply empathy and negotiation to resolve balance issues. High school diploma or GED preferred; bilingual abilities welcomed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent communication, listening and problem-solving skills.
• Basic to intermediate computer knowledge.
• Reliable attendance.
• Proper grammar and email etiquette.
• Type a minimum of 35 WPM.
• Ability to work under time constraints and daily deadlines.

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, overtime and weekends.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) welcomed but not required; Auto Collections experience preferred.

Tasks And Responsibilities

The Pre-30-Day Collector plays an important role in helping customers stay on track with their accounts while supporting Westlake Financial’s continued success. We’re looking for someone who’s goal-driven, customer-focused, and ready to grow with us.

• Use strong communication and negotiation skills to work with customers and help them make timely payments.
• Meet and exceed daily and monthly performance goals.
• Make effective outbound calls to customers to arrange payments or set up plans to resolve past-due accounts.
• Handle inbound customer calls — providing professional, friendly assistance while addressing both service and collection needs.
• Work with Westlake customers to find and arrange collection solutions for individual accounts.
• Be a dependable team player who contributes to a positive, supportive work environment.

Experience And Requirements
