Westlake Financial is seeking a Collections Representative in Dallas, TX (on-site) to help customers get back on track with their accounts. You will use communication and problem-solving skills to assist customers who are 31+ days past due and prevent loan losses through compassionate collection efforts.

Responsibilities include handling calls, setting up payments or plans, negotiating solutions, and keeping meticulous notes while following company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of consumer collections experience in a high-volume environment.
• Understanding of collection laws, including the FDCPA.
• Proficiency with data entry and web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls with professional demeanor.
• Reach out to customers to set up payments or payment plans.
• Negotiate fair payment solutions while meeting goals.
• Keep detailed and accurate notes on interactions and actions.
• Review accounts for repossession in line with guidelines.
