Job summary

Westlake Financial is seeking a Collections Representative for our Dallas, TX on-site team to help customers bring accounts current. You’ll handle inbound/outbound calls, set up payment plans, and negotiate solutions while documenting interactions.

Requirements include FDCPA knowledge, strong communication, and experience in high-volume auto-dialer environments; base pay is $17/hour plus up to $3,000 monthly bonus, plus tiered retention incentives.

Qualifications

• At least one year of consumer collections experience in a high call-volume environment.
• Knowledge of collection and repossession processes; auto collection experience preferred.
• Understanding of FDCPA and related laws; strong data entry and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls with friendly, professional support.
• Reach out to customers to set up payments or repayment plans.
• Negotiate fair payment solutions while meeting performance targets.
• Keep detailed notes on customer interactions and actions.
• Communicate clearly with customers, teammates and management.
• Use skip-tracing tools to locate customers or collateral when needed.
• Review accounts for repossession following guidelines.
• Support department goals to reduce delinquency and maintain compliance.
• Manage a high volume of calls in a fast-paced team environment.
• Protect confidential information related to customers and accounts.
