Job summary

Westlake Financial is seeking a 90-Day Collector in Dallas to manage accounts more than 90 days past due and reduce delinquency with persistence and negotiation. You will locate customers and collateral, arrange payment solutions, and work with repossession agents as needed.

The role requires 3+ years of backend subprime and auto collections experience, a high school diploma, and strong knowledge of FDCPA. A fast-paced environment with overtime is common.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend subprime collections experience required.
• Auto collections experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong skip-tracing knowledge to locate customers or collateral.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with professional phone etiquette.
• Understanding of FDCPA and related collection laws.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers with accounts >90 days past due to discuss payment options and resolve delinquencies.
• Use skip-tracing techniques to locate customers and collateral locations.
• Negotiate payment solutions tailored to each customer’s situation.
• Achieve monthly goals while maintaining quality, compliance, and professionalism.
• Collaborate with repossession agents to recover collateral when required.
• Reduce delinquency rates through consistent follow-up and strategic communication.
• Handle a high volume of calls in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
