Job summary

AEG is seeking a Contract Administrator to collaborate with legal, operations, accounting and production teams. The role focuses on reviewing artist, venue, co-promotion, vendor, and sponsor agreements, processing wire requests, and ensuring insurance requirements are met for each event.

Responsibilities include contract markup, data clarification, and coordinating approvals with talent buyers and venue management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalency (BA/BS Degree Preferred).
• 2-4 years of related work experience.
• Paralegal, legal experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of contract administration and legal language.
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
• Ability to compare/analyze documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word) and Adobe software.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and perform well under pressure.
• Interest/knowledge of music industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and edit artist contracts including issuing, mark-up, receipt and processing.
• Review venue, vendor, co-promotion, sponsor and location agreements.
• Initiate wire requests/deposits for artist and/or venue and submit for approval.
• Review venue insurance for potential risks or special circumstances.
• Develop and update contract process; disseminate information to field and office.
• May be responsible for training new employees in contract administration and creating templates.
• May work with exhibitors ensuring paperwork is completed correctly and communicate venue information/updates.
