Job summary

Northeastern University is seeking a Product Manager to own the Workday platform end-to-end across Finance, HCM, Payroll, and Procurement. You will translate business strategy into a unified Workday roadmap and align stakeholders with a coherent product vision.

The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, managing releases, and ensuring SOX/compliance considerations across geographies. A hybrid work model is offered with on-campus collaboration three days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business, information systems, HR, finance, or related field.
• 5+ years supporting or leading Workday (or comparable ERP/HCM) implementations or operations across multiple modules.
• Experience owning a product roadmap or acting as a product/platform owner in an enterprise context.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall Workday product strategy and multi-year roadmap across Finance, HCM, Payroll, and Procurement modules.
• Define and prioritize the enterprise backlog balancing stakeholder needs, compliance, and technical debt.
• Coordinate release cycles across all modules including Workday biannual releases, with testing, communication, and training.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize requirements into functional/technical specs.
• Ensure governance, risk, and compliance for SOX, payroll/tax regulations, and data privacy across geographies.
