Job summary

Hamilton Lane is seeking an Associate Product Manager to join the Innovation Team and help shape the firm’s technology roadmap across Operations and other internal functions. You will partner with HR and Finance to develop a Workday roadmap and own delivery for internally built applications.

You will coordinate with Operations to identify technology needs, define practical solutions, and manage the product life cycle from discovery through implementation and go‑live.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 3–5 years of product, business analysis, transformation, or implementation experience.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and roadmaps.
• Experience with buy‑versus‑build decisions and presenting recommendations.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Experience with UAT, change management, and project governance.

Responsibilities

• Build partnerships with Operations, HR, and Finance leaders to understand objectives and outcomes.
• Translate business needs into product opportunities, backlogs, and roadmaps for platforms and applications.
• Prioritize initiatives and present recommendations based on value, impact, and risk.
• Lead buy‑versus‑build evaluations, vendor discussions, proofs of concept, and cost analyses.
• Serve as Product Manager for internally built apps and enterprise platforms; own data flows and integrations.
• Guide products from concept to go‑live and post‑launch improvements with risk and scope management.
• Coordinate cross‑functional delivery, testing, readiness, training and change management.
