Job summary

Vontier is seeking an experienced transformation leader to own governance and execution quality across its portfolio of lean value-stream transformations. You will translate enterprise priorities into KPI-backed charters, coach capacity, and ensure baseline validation while removing barriers and delivering measurable results across a matrix organization.

You will mentor leaders, drive weekly reviews, and ensure capability transfer so local ownership can sustain improvements after completion.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in relevant business, operational, or functional field with strong background in lean transformation.
• Proven track record in enterprise transformation and business turnaround using lean methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
• Demonstrated leadership of complex, cross-functional transformations with measurable outcomes.
• Experience mentoring transformation leaders and influencing senior sponsors.
• Demonstrated financial judgment and ability to adapt methods across varied business conditions.
• Expert value-stream transformation and Lean thinking; proficient problem solving, growth thinking, and change leadership; competent strategy execution, 80/20 thinking, financial judgment, data judgment, and development of others.
• Willingness to travel regularly (30-40%) across a global operating company portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Define transformation charters with executives and sponsors.
• Ensure explicit outcomes, baselines, sponsors, and exit criteria before launch.
• Recommend portfolio priorities based on enterprise value and readiness.
• Assign VBSLs and support against approved transformations.
• Establish weekly transformation reviews and transparent health reporting.
• Mentor VBSLs in lean thinking, problem solving, and stakeholder influence.
• Test root causes, benefits logic, sponsor engagement, and local ownership.
• Remove cross-functional barriers and fit transformation methods to the problem.
• Capture field learning and improve enterprise transformation standards.
