Job summary

Vontier seeks an expert in lean transformation to own governance and execution quality across its chartered value-stream transformations. You will translate enterprise priorities into KPI-backed charters, allocate VBSL resources, and ensure baselines, finance validation, and barrier removal drive measurable KPI improvements.

You will mentor leaders, manage cross-functional teams, and maintain weekly reviews to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes aligned with enterprise strategy.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in lean transformation and related business, operational, or functional fields.
• Proven track record in enterprise transformation and business turnaround using lean methodologies.
• Demonstrated leadership of complex, cross-functional transformations with measurable outcomes.
• Willingness to travel regularly (30-40%) across a global operating company portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Presidents, GMs, VBS Business Partners, and sponsors to define transformation charters.
• Require explicit outcomes, baselines, sponsors, business owners, authority envelopes, resources, risks, and exit criteria before launch.
• Recommend portfolio priorities and start/stop/continue decisions based on enterprise value and readiness.
• Assign VBSLs and other support against approved transformations.
• Establish weekly transformation reviews and transparent health reporting covering milestones, blockers, decisions, and finance validation.
• Mentor VBSLs in systems thinking, structured problem solving, and stakeholder influence.
