Job summary

Vontier is seeking an experienced Transformation Leader to own governance and execution quality across a portfolio of chartered value-stream transformations. You will translate enterprise priorities into KPI-backed charters, assign capacity, and drive measurable KPI outcomes through sponsors and matrixed teams.

You will mentor leaders in lean thinking, systems thinking, and structured problem solving, while removing barriers and ensuring methods fit the problem.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in relevant business, operational, or functional field with strong background in lean transformation.
• Proven track record in enterprise transformation and business turnaround using lean methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
• Demonstrated leadership of complex, cross-functional transformations with measurable outcomes.
• Experience mentoring transformation leaders and influencing senior sponsors.
• Willingness to travel regularly (30-40%) across a global operating company portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Presidents, GMs, VBS Business Partners, and sponsors to define transformation charters.
• Require explicit outcomes, baselines, sponsors, business owners, authority envelopes, resources, risks, and exit criteria before launch.
• Recommend portfolio priorities and start/stop/continue decisions based on enterprise value and readiness.
• Assign VBSLs and other support against approved transformations.
• Establish weekly transformation reviews and transparent health reporting covering milestones, blockers, decisions, Finance validation, and capability transfer.
• Mentor VBSLs in systems thinking, Gemba-based learning, structured problem solving, stakeholder influence, and business judgment.
