Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Solutions Manager to advance enterprise thermal solutions within Data Center Building Block Solutions. You will shape the opportunity pipeline, engage with enterprise clients, and represent Supermicro at industry events to align product development with market needs.

Your role includes contributing to strategic engagements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving revenue opportunities through effective pre-sales support and customer relationship management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5 years of experience in business development, product management, solution selling in data center power and thermal management
• Familiarity with end-to-end thermal solutions: cold plates, CDUs, manifolds, liquid cooling loops, rack-scale cooling
• Experience with HVAC systems or MEP disciplines is a plus
• Prior experience with OEMs, data center operators, or technology partners in product management, marketing, sales or business development preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and business stakeholders
• Proven ability in relationship management and negotiation for mid- to large-scale opportunities
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and external partners collaboratively

Responsibilities

• Partner with management and cross-functional teams to support customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth targets for enterprise thermal solutions
• Lead and support pre-sales engagements by collaborating with engineering, sales, and product teams to design and deliver competitive solution proposals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, and strategic partners to expand adoption of the thermal solutions portfolio
• Develop vertical-focused thermal solutions from proof-of-concept to market-ready offerings across cooling architectures
• Support solution integration projects from design through deployment and serve as escalation point for technical and commercial issues
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to position air- and liquid-cooling solutions competitively and provide product training
• Deliver timely customer feedback and market insights to influence product roadmaps and client satisfaction
• Drive demand generation and solution promotion with marketing, partners, and alliances
• Represent Supermicro at industry events to network, identify opportunities and strengthen brand
• Support HVAC- and MEP-related customer requirements bridging facility cooling with IT thermal solutions
