Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business and 15+ years outside sales experience in transaction tax software.
• Strong track record of relationship development and business development.
• Experience selling to mid- or senior-level decision makers in tax software or consulting.
• Background selling software/consulting services to enterprise-level customers.

Responsibilities

• Generate revenue by selling Vertex transaction tax solutions in a defined territory.
• Develop strategies and account plans to penetrate target accounts.
• Navigate organizations to leverage Vertex as an enterprise-wide value proposition.
• Build executive-level relationships and sell into multi-department enterprises.
• Develop and respond to RFPs; foster partnerships between Vertex and customers.
