Job summary

Vertex Inc. in Atlanta seeks an experienced enterprise sales professional to drive revenue by selling Vertex transaction tax solutions to prospects and existing clients.

You will develop territory strategies, build executive relationships, and close deals through consultative, multi-department engagement. The role requires a strong background in software sales to finance and tax leaders and a track record of winning complex opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business and 15+ years outside sales experience.
• Strong knowledge of Vertex transaction tax software preferred.
• Background selling software and/or consulting services to mid- or senior-level decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Generate revenue by selling Vertex tax solutions to defined prospects and clients.
• Develop strategies and account plans to penetrate a defined territory.
• Build long-term relationships with customers and stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Respond to RFPs and develop joint proposals with Vertex Consulting.
