Vertex Inc. is seeking a high-impact sales professional to drive revenue by selling Vertex transaction tax solutions within a defined territory.

You will develop tailored strategies, deepen executive relationships, and lead complex, multi-department deals to meet customer goals. The role requires extensive experience in outside sales, a strong grasp of tax software, and the ability to respond to RFPs, shaping joint proposals with Vertex Consulting.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business; 15+ years outside sales in transaction tax software (sales tax/consumer use tax/VAT) required.
Strong track record of relationship development and business development experience required.
Strong working knowledge of Vertex or comparable transaction tax software preferred.
Background selling software and/or consulting services to mid- or senior-level decision makers required.

Mansioni

Generate revenue for Vertex by selling Vertex transaction tax solutions in a defined territory.
Develop strategy and account plans to penetrate the territory and target accounts.
Drive opportunities by selling the enterprise-wide value proposition to executives and multiple departments.
Develop and respond to RFPs and foster relationships with customers and partners.
Build customer awareness of Vertex initiatives and stay informed on industry developments.
