Job summary

Vertex Inc. is seeking a senior enterprise sales professional to generate revenue by selling Vertex transaction tax solutions to prospects and existing clients in a defined territory.

You will develop territory strategies, build executive relationships, respond to RFPs, and partner with Vertex Consulting to present enterprise-wide value across multi-department organizations. You will stay informed of customer business requirements, craft tailored solutions, and drive long-term account plans

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business; 15+ years outside sales experience in transaction tax software.
• Strong working knowledge of Vertex or comparable transaction tax software preferred.
• Background selling software/consulting services to mid- or senior-level decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Generate revenue by selling Vertex transaction tax solutions to prospects and existing clients.
• Develop territory strategies and account plans to penetrate defined territory.
• Understand customer business requirements and develop tailored Vertex solutions; build long-term executive relationships.
• Drive opportunities by selling enterprise-wide value to high-level stakeholders within complex, multi-department organizations.
• Respond to RFPs and develop joint proposals with Vertex Consulting; foster partnerships with customers and partners.
