Job summary

Hitachi Vantara is seeking a product marketing leader for the Business Applications & Databases domain. You will translate complex technology into a clear market story, craft differentiated narratives, and develop practical tools for sellers to use in live conversations.

You will report to product marketing leadership and own strategy and execution across cross-domain plans, including Data & Cyber Resilience and Virtualization & Cloud, collaborating with product, sales, partners, and marketing

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in product marketing or enterprise B2B technology marketing.
• Experience owning or supporting go-to-market strategy and execution.
• Proven ability to translate complex technical capability into clear positioning, messaging, and content.
• Experience building solution-oriented assets and enablement materials: web pages, data sheets, sales presentations, and sales tools.
• Experience supporting sales enablement, partner marketing, channel enablement, or field-readiness programs.
• Experience in a global enterprise technology environment, or supporting complex, multi-stakeholder B2B buying cycles.
• Strong analytical skills: read market, customer, analyst input and build evidence-backed positions.
• Strong writing and editing with judgment to provide proofs.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Define domain go-to-market strategy for Business Applications & Databases: positioning, messaging, audiences, buyer needs.
• Translate strategy into differentiated, outcome-led stories for buyers, sellers, and partners.
• Create customer-facing assets: solution pages, data sheets, sales presentations, and tools.
• Enable sales and partners across the buyer journey from awareness to purchase.
• Coordinate cross-domain execution across Data & Cyber Resilience and Virtualization & Cloud.
• Gather customer, market, competitive and analyst input to sharpen differentiation and messaging.
