Job summary

Censys is seeking an Enterprise Solutions Engineer to serve as the primary technical resource for enterprise prospects and customers in the Chicago market. You will bridge complex cybersecurity challenges with measurable business outcomes and work closely with the Enterprise Account Executive.

In this role, you will design and deliver product demonstrations, architect solutions for large environments, and run technical evaluations to enable adoption of Censys’s Internet intelligence platform.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise sales cycles with multiple buying centers and technical stakeholders.
• SaaS sales or pre-sales engineering experience preferred.
• Ability to translate complex security needs into solutions for executives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and business audiences.
• Willingness to travel within the Chicago metro area and broader territory.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical leader on enterprise sales cycles in the Chicago territory.
• Lead technical discovery to understand prospect environments and drivers.
• Deliver product demonstrations and proofs of concept for enterprise buyers.
• Design architectures addressing multi‑stakeholder environments and security tooling.
• Own responses to RFPs/RFIs and security questionnaires.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to target strategic accounts in Chicago.
• Support customers post‑sale with handoff to delivery teams and success groups.
• Provide feedback to product teams from enterprise engagements.
• Maintain records of engagements and progress for management.
