Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Enterprise Security Architect – Presales to combine strategic pre-sales with consulting-led solutioning, acting as a trusted advisor to clients. You will translate business priorities into security transformation roadmaps and drive large cybersecurity deals.

You will partner with sales, account teams, CIS, and client stakeholders to architect outcome-driven security solutions aligned to risk, regulatory and digital transformation objectives.

Qualifications

• 17+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• Strong understanding of security-led infrastructure and secure-by-design solutions.
• Broad depth across legacy, cloud, zero trust, data security, IAM, SIEM, and AI-driven security.
• Experience delivering data center and cloud security solutions including firewalls, VPN, DLP, IAM, and encryption.
• Familiarity with PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, NIST, SOC1, and FISMA.

Responsibilities

• Drive proactive pipeline growth in existing accounts and own end-to-end integrated cybersecurity deals.
• Drive new business from existing farming accounts by generating downstream SI and MSS pipeline.
• Partner with sales, account teams, CIS, and other service lines to identify opportunities and architect solutions.
• Lead RFP/RFI responses, client workshops, and proposal development for cybersecurity consulting, SI, and managed services.
• Evaluate commercial constructs including pricing, risk transfer, and scalability of security solutions.
• Engage clients to assess security maturity and co-create target-state architectures.
• Build and leverage presales and delivery teams to execute engagements and scalable offerings.
