Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join the Global Enterprise Team in a pre-sales role.

You will act as a trusted advisor, configure Cisco solutions, and demonstrate value to top Enterprise customers in the New York metro region with regular travel to NYC-based clients. You will collaborate with Account Managers and Product Specialists to architect solutions and align opportunities with business priorities, translating technical needs into implementable architectures and

Qualifications

5+ years of related experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or client-facing consulting roles.
Cisco product experience or relevant experience with key competitor offerings.
Pre-sales experience, with the ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Professional certifications (e.g., CCIE, CCNP, CCNA) or equivalent are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted advisor in a pre-sales technical role for Enterprise accounts.
Set up demonstrations and explain features/benefits to customers.
Design and configure Cisco products to meet customer needs.
Collaborate with Account Managers and Product Specialists to develop solutions.
Develop and execute formal sales plans and respond to RFPs.
