Job summary

Plane is seeking a seasoned Technical Architect for pre-sales and post-sales engagements with regulated industries. You will design self-hosted and air-gapped deployments, translate security and infrastructure requirements into concrete deployments, and speak as the technical voice on sales calls.

You'll work with regulated customers, shape migration paths, and collaborate with sales and engineering to close complex deals while documenting solutions clients can actually implement.

Qualifications

• Design and defend a technical architecture to skeptical buyers.
• Translate security and infrastructure requirements into deployment decisions.
• Speak as the technical voice on sales calls.
• Document technical solutions that customers can implement.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture for enterprise deployments from discovery to a signed SOW.
• Design self-hosted and air-gapped Plane deployments that satisfy security reviews.
• Run technical discovery with customers and build trust for the next steps.
• Define the migration path when moving off legacy tools, including what data does not survive.
• Work daily with sales on live deals and with engineering to address product gaps with concrete requests.
• Answer security questionnaires in the procurement process, across multiple formats.
