Job summary

Plane Careers in the United States is seeking a Solutions Architect to own the technical architecture for enterprise and regulated deployments, including self-hosted and air-gapped environments. You will translate customer infrastructure and compliance needs into Plane deployments that actually hold up.

You will work directly with sales on the largest deals and with engineering when a customer's requirements expose a gap in the product, carrying that gap back as a specific, scoped request.

Qualifications

• Ability to translate customer requirements into concrete deployment decisions.
• Experience designing self-hosted and on-prem deployments beyond basic docker-compose.
• Strong understanding of security reviews, identity, and network considerations.
• Comfortable being the technical voice on sales calls and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture for enterprise and regulated deployments from discovery to signed SOW.
• Design self-hosted and air-gapped Plane deployments tailored to customer security reviews.
• Run technical discovery with customers and build trust for future engagements.
• Define migration paths when moving from legacy tools, flagging data migration details up front.
• Collaborate daily with sales on live deals and with engineering to address product gaps.
• Answer security questionnaires in a consistent, accurate manner for procurement.
