Job summary

Vasion is seeking a Solutions Architect for our regulated and federal business. You will own defensible technical answers for authentication, network isolation, and accreditation constraints, and define paths when standard answers don’t apply. This depth role requires staying deeply fluent in our portfolio as it evolves.

You’ll set patterns, assess risk, and design cutovers for complex deployments while ensuring clear handoffs and continued customer success.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years deploying infrastructure software into complex enterprise or public sector environments.
• Strong working command of SAML, SSO, directory integration, certificate-based authentication.
• DNS, TLS and certificate chains, firewalls, proxies, VLANs.
• Cloud infrastructure experience on AWS/Azure/GCP and virtualization platforms.
• Linux administration and scripting with PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Evidence of learning new technical domains to real depth.
• Ability to hold technical conversations with customers under pressure.
• Experience turning one-off solutions into reusable assets.

Responsibilities

• Build depth on new capabilities ahead of demand and surface gaps.
• Be the technical authority on federal and regulated requirements and articulate product limits.
• Codify recurring patterns into reusable reference designs for future engagements.
• Assess risk posture and define mitigations for complex opportunities.
• Design architecture, integration points, and cutover approaches beyond standard templates.
• Provide complete handoff context with assumptions, constraints, and success criteria.
• Lead the hardest cutovers and drive project completion when complexity exceeds standard delivery.
• Diagnose root causes during escalations and deliver definitive technical insights.
