Job summary

Plane seeks a Solutions Architect to own the technical architecture for enterprise and regulated deployments, guiding projects from discovery through a signed statement of work. You translate customer infrastructure and compliance needs into Plane deployments, collaborating with sales on complex deals.

You will design self-hosted and air-gapped deployments, handle security reviews, and serve as the technical voice on deals.

Qualifications

• Designed and defended technical architecture for skeptical buyers.
• Understand self-hosted deployments beyond docker-compose.
• Translate security/compliance requirements into deployment decisions.
• Comfortable being the technical voice on sales calls.
• Produce actionable technical documentation for engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise/regulatory deployment architecture from discovery to signed SOW.
• Design self-hosted and air-gapped Plane deployments meeting customer reviews.
• Lead technical discovery with customers and validate requirements.
• Define data migration paths and handling of legacy tools.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering; relay gaps as specific requests.
• Respond to security questionnaires with clear, precise answers.
