Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Solutions Architect within the Global Presales Engineering organization to partner with enterprise clients on their digital transformation. You will help identify opportunities, design and position solutions, and build long-term relationships across Verizon offerings.

You will own the technical relationship with customers, coordinate briefs and proofs-of-concept, and collaborate with the sales team to deliver integrated Verizon networks, cloud, and security solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of work experience.
• 4+ years in tech industry, pre-sales, or customer-facing roles.
• Experience architecting software or infrastructure for scalable systems.
• Experience with LAN/WAN and large enterprise networks.
• Networking concepts including SDN, routing, VPNs, load balancers, firewalls.
• Knowledge of data and information security.
• Travel willingness and valid driver’s license.
• Two+ of: SDN, IT security, cloud, network management, or continuity.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify opportunities and develop strategy to resolve technical matters.
• Recommend integration strategies and architectures for complete solutions.
• Own the technical relationship with customers, including briefings, POCs, and coordinating resources.
• Work with customers to create solutions and use cases leveraging Verizon product integrations.
• Travel to client sites, conferences, and related events as required.
