Job summary

Verizon Global Presales Engineering is seeking a Solutions Architect to join the team and partner with enterprise accounts on digital transformation. You will identify opportunities, design solutions, and manage technical relationships across WLN/WLS portfolios.

You’ll work with sales to drive bookings and revenue, travel to client sites, and collaborate with GID and SDE teams to pursue larger deals and ensure customer success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of work experience.
• 4+ years in tech industry, pre-sales, customer-facing, consulting or other relevant technical experience.
• Experience architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems.
• Experience architecting and developing LAN/WAN or large infrastructure and network solutions for enterprise customers.
• Experience with networking concepts including: SDN, routing, VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls.
• Willingness to travel and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify business opportunities and develop the strategy to resolve technical matters.
• Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure for complete solutions.
• Own the technical relationship with Verizon customers, including briefings, PoC work, and coordinating technical resources.
• Work with customers to create solutions and use cases leveraging Verizon product integrations.
• Articulate Verizon Enterprise vision on technologies and solutions to clients; position Verizon as a thought leader.
• Lead prioritization of customer solution/technical requirements and address gaps internally.
• Develop skill set and expand product knowledge to maximise value and service quality.
• Travel to client sites, conferences, and related events as required.
