Job summary

Verizon is seeking an Enhanced Collaboration Principal Sales Engineer aligned to the Associate Director - Sales Engineer in the Central US. You will lead solution design for WLN/WLS, build long-term relationships with IT and business leaders, and help drive bookings and revenue across enterprise accounts.

Primarily a mobile role, you’ll work from client sites and field locations with periodic Verizon meetings, travel as required, and collaboration with GID and SDE teams to pursue larger deals

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of work experience.
• 4+ years in tech industry, pre-sales, customer-facing, consulting or other relevant technical experience.
• Experience architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems.
• Experience with LAN/WAN and large enterprise network solutions.
• Knowledge of SDN, IT infrastructure and systems security, cloud or network management.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify business opportunities and develop solution strategies.
• Own technical relationships with customers, coordinating proof-of-concept work.
• Design and present solutions using Verizon capabilities to meet customer business needs.
• Travel to client sites and industry events as required.
