Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a founding Security Services Solutions Architect to define how AWS goes deep on security services adoption for the largest enterprise customers.

You will own architecture, validation, and customer outcomes, partnered with a dedicated Security Specialist Seller to drive outcomes. You will engage CISOs and security leaders in architecture reviews and security assessments, guiding adoption across a named portfolio of top customers while shaping the security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering/math or equivalent.
• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.
• Experience communicating with executive stakeholders or clients.
• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Knowledge of cloud computing, security concepts, and AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the long-term security architect for defined enterprise customers within an industry.
• Lead architecture reviews, security assessments, and proof-of-concept guidance.
• Drive adoption of AWS Security Services (Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector, Detective, IAM Identity Center, Macie, Security Lake, Network Firewall, WAF).
• Architect security for generative AI workloads and evolving AI security needs.
• Translate customer friction into structured product feedback shaping AWS security roadmap.
• Publish reusable assets to scale impact beyond engagements.
• Own at least one team-level initiative per year to elevate the function.
