Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a long-term security architect for enterprise customers across industries. You will guide adoption of the AWS security services portfolio and lead architecture reviews, security assessments, and PoC guidance with CISOs and security leaders.

You will work in a two-person team with a dedicated Security Specialist Seller to own architecture and customer outcomes, shaping the security services roadmap for top accounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical role within a sales organization.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.
• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Experience with presentations and speaking with executives, IT, management, and developers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the long-term security architect for a defined set of enterprise customers guiding adoption of AWS security services.
• Operate with a Security Specialist Seller as a two-person team to own architecture and customer confidence.
• Drive adoption of the AWS Security Services portfolio across multiple motions and accounts.
• Lead technical conversations with CISOs, VP-level security leaders, and engineering teams.
• Help customers architect security for generative AI and agentic AI workloads.
• Translate feedback into product roadmap improvements for security services.
• Publish reusable assets that scale impact beyond engagements.
• Own at least one team-level initiative per year to raise function standards.
