Job summary

Chainguard is building a safer foundation for software. We seek a BDR who can run outbound and advance into technical conversations with enterprise prospects. You will partner with AEs to penetrate high-value accounts and develop pipeline that converts.

You’ll engage engineers and security leaders with tailored messaging, researching containers, CI/CD, and cloud environments to stay credible and relevant in conversations.

Qualifications

• Experience selling to enterprise accounts.
• Ability to map and engage security, platform, and engineering buyers.
• Strong communication and strategic-thought leadership.

Responsibilities

• Drive enterprise account strategy - work with AEs to map target accounts and entry points.
• Run highly personalized, technical outbound outreach to developers, DevOps, and security leaders.
• Understand how modern infrastructure works (containers, CI/CD, cloud) to craft credible outreach.
• Lead early conversations by understanding technical context, risk posture, and business priorities.
• Build real pipeline by creating opportunities that move forward, not just meetings.
