Job summary

Chainguard is seeking a BDR to drive outbound and advance enterprise conversations with security and engineering teams. You will partner with AEs to map target accounts across security, platform, and engineering functions and craft highly technical, personalized outreach to developers, DevOps, and security leaders.

The role emphasizes building credible relationships with technically minded stakeholders, generating real pipeline, and collaborating on account plans and messaging.

Qualifications

• Excellent written communication tailored for engineers and security leaders.
• Minimum 6 months experience in BDR/SDR or equivalent.
• Experience engaging multiple stakeholders within technical or complex orgs.
• Portuguese and/or Spanish fluency is required.
• Proven ability to generate pipeline through outbound efforts.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building own outreach approach.

Responsibilities

• Drive enterprise account strategy by mapping target accounts across security, platform, and engineering teams.
• Run thoughtful, technical outbound with personalized outreach to developers, DevOps, and security leaders.
• Research how modern infrastructure (containers, CI/CD, cloud) affects outreach credibility.
• Qualify opportunities by understanding technical context, risk posture, and business priorities.
• Create real pipeline, not just meetings; focus on advancing opportunities.
