Job summary

Chainguard is seeking a BDR to advance outbound efforts into enterprise accounts, partnering with AEs to penetrate high-value targets. You’ll engage security and engineering leaders with credible, technical conversations and drive pipeline that aligns with Chainguard’s secure software foundation.

You’ll map accounts, craft personalized messages about containers, CI/CD, and cloud environments, and qualify opportunities based on technical context and business priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience running outbound sales campaigns.
• Ability to engage engineers and security leaders in conversations.
• Familiarity with enterprise software and DevOps concepts.

Responsibilities

• Drive enterprise account strategy with AE collaboration to map target accounts.
• Create highly personalized, technically grounded outbound outreach.
• Research how containers, CI/CD, and cloud environments influence messaging.
• Qualify opportunities by technical context, risk posture, and priorities.
• Build real pipeline by moving opportunities forward, not just generating meetings.
