Job summary

Amazon’s AWS Industries seeks a Security Services Solutions Architect to serve as the long-term security architect for enterprise customers, partnering 1:1 with a Security Specialist Seller to own architecture and outcomes from discovery to launch. You’ll lead technical validation and drive adoption of AWS security services across multiple industries.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical role within a sales organization.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or experience in a professional field or military.
• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Experience with presentations and speaking with executives, IT, management, and developers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the long-term security architect for a defined set of enterprise customers guiding adoption of AWS security services.
• Operate as half of a two-person team with a Security Specialist Seller; own solution architecture and technical validation.
• Drive adoption of AWS Security Services across multiple motions: deepen adoption, enable CISO relationships, support displacement.
• Lead technical conversations with CISOs and engineering teams including architecture reviews and security assessments.
• Help customers architect security for generative AI workloads and translate friction into structured product feedback.
• Publish reusable assets and own at least one team initiative yearly to raise function maturity.
