Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. in Lowell, AR is seeking a Sales Development Manager to drive new business with prospective customers, focusing on designated transportation mode(s) and cross-divisional opportunities.

You will define opportunities, onboard new clients, align internal teams for customer success, and transition accounts to account management for ongoing growth. This full-time role requires a proactive, results-driven approach with travel as needed; a bachelor’s degree and sales

Qualifications

2-3 years of Sales, Account Management, or equivalent experience and NA Truckload experience
Willingness to travel to local customer sites with occasional overnight travel
Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record as per company standards

Responsibilities

Lead generation via data insights, cold calling, networking to convert new business
Meet with prospective customers to discuss opportunities and win contracts
Develop account strategy for maintenance and growth; roadmap for long-term account health
Coordinate with internal teams and customers to implement solutions and kickoff
Set expectations during implementation; monitor KPI reviews, revenue quality, and contract terms
