Job summary

Exterro is seeking a dynamic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing SaaS company. This remote role targets US Central & Mountain Time Zones and focuses on lead generation, prospecting, qualification, and collaboration with sales and marketing.

You will drive pipeline, track KPIs, and maintain CRM data while supporting the sales team with tailored solutions for potential clients across the enterprise segment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in a B2B sales, lead generation or customer-facing role (SaaS preferred).
• Proficient with modern sales tech stack: Salesforce, Gong, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, AI tools, etc.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% for events incl. annual Sales Kick-Off.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation and prospecting to identify potential clients and decision-makers.
• Qualify leads using predefined criteria (BANT) and schedule meetings for the sales team.
• Build rapport with prospects by understanding industry challenges and offering tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to ensure smooth handoffs and feedback loops.
• Maintain accurate lead records, activity in CRM and report on key metrics.
